Random rant Random Photos

Been REALLY busy this whole week with new clients and a whole list of appointments to settle. Well, appointments but I choose to settle meetings over emails and SMS, which actually saved me a lot of traveling and precious time!
Random Photo

Was suppose to go SGH for my medical check up and MRI scan, but totally forgot about it! Tried to reschedule and the earliest date for me was the 11th September with a senior consultant! Well, I guess waiting patiently for it should be the way to go. But, recently not much of a migraine or headache. Perhaps the stress level is dropping in a way? LOL... well lets keep it this way...

Another random photo!!!

Just a quick rant here in the blog besides my usual twitter ranting!

Till then, keep reading!!!

8th Month!

YES... 8 months and loving it~

Time is really passing so quickly I wished it would just take a "chill pill" and slow down!!! Simple little celebration we had, dinner and a movie!

However, it was dinner at famous Swedish Market, Marche!!! Topped with movie at Vivo - Transformers!!!

(Yes, I know we're a bit late with such a blockbuster, but hey, we've been busy and both of us just recently recovered from illness!)

Dinner was a last minute change of mind as we intentionally wanted to try out the Korean restaurant! Did I mention before that both of us loveeeee Korean food? Especially the Korean BBQ chicken? Hahaha... Talking about it makes my stomach grumble~

Well, I don't wanna talk to much about it, just feast your eyes on the food we ordered! Check it out~

Don't know when I became a food critic, but this crispy pork knuckle was really delicious!!! Crispy on the outside, and moist and tender on the inside!!!

Baby's well done steak! A little tough to cut, probably because they didn't offer steak knife. Personally I prefer it medium rare, but baby likes hers well done :)

Our shared chicken sausage rostie! Still good as always and look at the generous serve of sour cream! LOL ~ Random

Dessert had definitely be the crepe! We chose the fresh banana sweet crepe! YUMMY~~~ There's caramel spread on the inside toppled with generous serving of freshly cut bananas!

Hot day it was, so water melon juice for drinks!!! Refreshing!!!

As usual, we finished everything!!! LOL~ Masters of fine food!!!

Movie was great all around, but really agree with most of my friends that the first transformer had a better story line. However, full marks for the visual effects and action scenes in the third series of the transformer showcase!

A little draggy in the middle, plus, Megan Fox is still our preferred transformer babe, overall, still a good 4/5 stars rating. (Might consider doing a review of the transformer movie? I don't know... lol)

Well, done with Transformers 3, next blockbuster would probably be Harry Potter! But not before catching Monte Carlo (Selena Gomez) since baby has been requesting to watch it :)

Till then... Keep reading!!!

I'm back and armed with a new "weapon"

One month and 10 days? Thats how long since I last posted a blog entry. Yeah... been sometime because of my busy schedule and tons of things to organize during the month of June! Apologies to my readers for such a let down! But not to worry, I'm back with a new "weapon" which will definitely entice me to keep blogging on as much as I can!!!

After weeks of careful consideration between the all new iMac and Macbook Pro, I have finally concluded that a desktop would suit my current lifestyle and work habits more than a laptop!
After ordering, a couple of days earlier, I finally got the green light from Apple that my iMac was ready for collection!

*Brand new iMac in its original box*

Well, it was suppose to have cost me $1648 for the set (without any upgrades) but thanks to my dad, who always believes in buying the best of the best for the current period of time, he had a casual conversation with the sales personnel at the Apple store and casually helped me to upgrade $500 worth of products! Now the iMac is upgraded till maximum, except for the hard disk which is still 1TB. This ended up costing over $2000 for the system. But who cares, its worth it!!!

I was hoping it took up less space but hell, it took up more than half my table!!! Thank god I'm no longer a student... So now this table is dedicated to photos and iMac!!! LOL

*Looks delicious yeah? I know :P*

Some of the accessories that came along included the wireless keyboard and mouse! Which had such a good wireless distance!!! I can actually lie on my lazybob (thanks to www.beds.sg) and watch a movie or surf the internet on it!!! WoooHooo~

The miscellaneous accessories included the Mac OS pack and the keyboard protector (which I ended up not using because it so dodgy and uncomfortable to use -.-. Apple also gave me, from part of my upgrades a cardreader combo which contains additional usb ports and other SD card reader ports etc (don't ask me, I see so many ports which I can't even distinguish which is for what type of cards)

Really happy with this new inventory! Kinda like a new phase in my life because of the switch from windows to Mac. Hahaha... Yeah, I love products from apple! Perhaps I will post a short entry on the apple products I've purchased over the years! LOL ~ Bo liao I know!!!

Anyway, just a preview, today's is our 8th Month together! Loving every moment of it! Thinking of having Korean dinner at vivo before our transformer movie! But baby and I can't remember if we saw the restaurant at vivo or another shopping mall!

Super busy day today, will blog again tonight!!!

Part 3 - picnic in the night!

Part 3 - finale ~ night picnic at marina barrage!

Just before I jump into the story on our picnic, I had to add in why we had our picnic so late at night! In fact, it was a midnight picnic which ended at 2am!!! But trust me, the atmosphere was close to perfect, except for the warm weather!!!

We had dinner at Ice edge cafe @ Serangoon, a cafe just behind kovan mrt station! Followed by a movie at cineleisure! We caught dylan dog, which was pretty good, because of the way the show went, a mixture of both comedy and horror! Well, my good friend Chong Qing, termed this as "Homedy" lol~

Moving along... our initial plan was to have picnic at East Coast Park in the evening, followed by a night cycle! But because we were hunting for the ring light, and wanted to cam whore at home, we ended up changing our plans! Which was perfect since everything turned out good anyway!

*LOOK ABOVE*

These are the home made brownies that we made before we went for our picnic

The crust at the top is crispy, hence the cracking appearance. While the center bit is softer followed by a solid base, giving it a more waffle/biscuit feel in every bite! Sounds delicious? I would say, not bad for a first attempt! Try is yourself, go to Coldstorage and buy a ready mix box and bake your own brownies at home!

Although its not much, here are our some of our drinks! We bought apple tea, and lime flavour bacardi! Eugene contributed with cheese/crackers and red wine!

Explanation for the chili sauce bottle, I actually made 4 hot dogs because I thought by the time the movie ended, supper was a must. Hence one hot dog for each person!!! WOOT~~

Apart from the light provided by baby's portable ring light (I will find a picture of it soon), we had candles the lighted up the area mildly, but it really set the mood for us! Romantic? I thought it was lovely :)

After the food and some drinks! We carried on with a few rounds of Ugly Dolls!!! A super fun and exciting card game that makes a person be alert and sparks memory power just to win!!! It was surely to be fun, when there were 4 of us playing! Unfortunately, Lutfiah lost every round we played and had to do a forfeit!

Photos before we left marina barrage! Love the background scenery!

I think I was munching on my brownies! I made it, so definitely had to eat it! It was edible for sure, cause non of us got food poisoning! LOL...

Picnic at midnight, a great experience! I would recommend everyone to try it at least once with the friends or even love ones!

** TAKE NOTE ~ the automated sprinkler systems turns on around 2am, so evacuate before then or prepare to get wet! **

Part 2 - attack of the cam whores!

Part 2 - continued...

Here we are again... more photos, this time its all about having fun! Nothing too serious like a the photoshoots that we both went before.

When the stare down doesn't work, the finger of death pops up

And when the finger of death doesn't work, its the fist of fury...

Such highly skilled kung fu is too much for me to take...

With all the skills in baby, she finally delivered the deadly blow...
**KA POW**

Nevertheless, she'll always be my baby... here she is again! Solo!!!

~~NEWS FLASH~~

(Dear readers, do check out her blog as well!!! The link is paste on the photo!)

How can fun exclude weird looking faces??? LOL...

And of cause, the lovey dovey photos...

*under 18 please look away*

My own solo... but I don't think I look very flattering... :(

In fact these ones look much better... although half the faces were retarded.

*** Photo on the top right hand corner, facial expression borrowed from my friend ANT, the puffer fish face ***
Photo shoot was fun and all... but what we did next was something that I had never done in my life! Nice to have such an experience, especially with baby!!! The company from Eugene and Lutfiah was fantastic too! Talk about it more in the final part!!! Stay tune!!!

Hunt for the ring light!!!

PART 1 ~ The adventure begins...

Okay, not really much of an adventure actually... Was just trying to hype things up a little! Yeah, baby's been wanting to get a ring light for a while! Pretty much even before her birthday!!! Been searching high and low, on the internet, off the internet, everywhere for the ring light! What for? So that we can cam whore at home and do home style studio photoshoots whenever we want to!

We went down to sim lim square (people who are driving, take note of the car park, it got me pretty irritated because there is an $2 ERP gantry 10 meters from the entrance of the car park) We prowled from the 6th floor all the way to the first... I even saw the things I wanted to buy!!!

Here it is... Finally found it at sim lim square!!! Just sitting in one corner of Song brothers

We almost left sim lim because baby's friends didn't want to reply messages or pick up calls! But because we walked that little bit slower, here it is at home!!! Hehehe... @ $125 you can buy your very own fairly professional ring light!!!

And the cam whore begins...

I even took a few test shots of myself... gosh, I'm looking old already! Thank god I'm a retired model! LOL... but baby still looking gorgeous as always~

It was all fun to do normal shots until we started to get a little too creative with our facial expressions...

One of the last few normal shots before it started getting insane~

oh yeah... hang in there for PART 2... attack of the cam whores!!!

Universal Studio

Universal Studio

Fifth time at Universal studio! But this time it's with baby and friends!!! Super fun, super enjoyable!!!

The day started off, hot as hell, but the weather was good! A fantastic day for rides at Singapore's latest theme park! Besides, I didn't have to work that day, and baby had an off day from school, so why not since baby hasn't gone to USS before!!! :D

Our very first ride, sort of a warm up ride to the more exciting rides coming up! Unfortunately, most of the rides we were unable to snap shorts as we didn't want to risk our cameras getting flunk off the rides! But they were fun!

Quite a useless ride, as we both just sat in there spinning around... excitement level 2/10

Next up was the Shrek show from far far away!!!

Talk about 4 eyes... lol...

Who wants 4 eyes when you can have 8 eyes... look at Eugene's expression... and yes, Lutfiah is his beloved GF!!!

We love Shrek!!! Do we? I'm just saying...

The whole Shrek ride was quite long winded but the 4D ride was pretty cool! Water actually sprayed from the seats and the seats were motion sensored to move according to the clip being played! Very fun, especially for the kids!

*** Take note, the first gust of wind was due to the spiders on the clip, and 99% of the girls were screaming!!! Even my baby!!! ***

Baby's classmate Sophia!!! So shy for what? I don't understand :x

We walked anxiously to the recently serviced and upgraded battlestar galactica!!!
From left to right (Nicole, Sophia, baby and myself)

We even purchased a memorabilia from USS, a very cool dinosaur water bottle! It was originally filled with some kind of green apply flavor ice thingy, very yummy, but because it was so hot... before the ice melted, everything was gone!!! LOL...

Photos with some of the walking staff at USS... I swear this guy has huge arms, compare it with mine! I'm so ashame of myself!!! Damn... got to start training hard in the gym!!!

This is a good example of "there is always a bigger fish" so blardy tall!!! Yes we know he is on stilts but still I don't like being towered over like this! And very awful position where my head it -.-

After playing for a whole day, and baby got a massive migraine attack, and not to mention the weather started changing! We decided its time to head on home but not before making a stop at the Hershey shop!!!

Love the way baby puts in so much effort into reading how much fat the chocolate bar contains! Hehehe... adorable maximum!!!

And Once approved of the amount of fat and calories, silly baby wanted to eat the chocolate even before paying and unwrapping!!

Final photo was of the service crew giving out free chocolates outside the store! 3? I normally thought it was the peace sign... New trend perhaps?

Super enjoyed the day! Went back home feeling all pumped from the rides! We rode galatica about 3-4 times? Can't remember how many times because there was no queue!!! We just had to make our way up the stairs to the ride and off we went. Could have done more, but it was getting boring anyway! LOL

We also visited revenge of the mummy, saw the show and pyrotechnic extravagant!

Don't think I will be heading down to USS anytime soon, unless they have new attractions!

Signing out~~
